Revision notes
iQ generation: operator 314309 + encoder 314327 (white face, higher resolution) + iQ controllers. Pre-iQ: operator 313852 + black-face lower-resolution encoders + pre-iQ control boards. Motor assembly 1000498, switch module 191841, and cam-switch kit 516783 are higher-priority catalog items than the individual cams. Individual cams (stop, auxiliary, latch, breakout, collar) are listed as catalog entries only.
Labels & connectors to capture
  • Operator housing labels (ASSA ABLOY / Stanley Access, MFG date, serial)
  • Encoder face color at the splined shaft: white-face 314327 vs black-face pre-iQ
  • Controller in the header: iQ vs MC521 vs unknown
  • Cam stack and cam-switch kit identity if those parts are the sale
  • Motor connector and rubber mount condition
Common mistaken names
  • Dura-Glide sliding operators titled as M-Force
  • Magic-Swing or Magic-Access operators sold as M-Force
  • iQ 314309 operator assumed to work with a pre-iQ board (or 313852 with an iQ board)

Fitment & compatibility

Commercial swing automatic entrances using Stanley M-Force / Magic-Force operators. Distinct from Stanley sliding families and from Magic-Swing / Magic-Access lines.

Voltage: Read the installed controller and operator labels. Do not infer supply from a marketplace thumbnail of a different generation.

Condition / value guidance

Numeric sold comps are published only when researched. Empty dollar fields mean we chose honesty over filler. Asking prices on marketplaces are not sold comps.

  • Used — untested

Numeric range not published yet — see notes · confidence: low · as of 2026-08-15

No verified sold-comparable table is published on this page. Asking prices, distributor list, and sold comps are different data kinds and are not inferred from each other.

Provenance: Qualitative guidance only — numeric value fields left null until a verified sold or list source is recorded.

  • Dead core / unknown working

Numeric range not published yet — see notes · confidence: low · as of 2026-08-15

Unlabeled or mixed-generation cores are hard to place. Readable family plates and encoder/controller generation are the first filter.

Provenance: Owner field practice; no numeric core schedule published here.

Seller guidance

Photograph

  • Full operator side profile including splined shaft and encoder
  • Encoder face (white vs black) close-up
  • Any readable operator PN / serial / MFG sticker
  • Controller in the same opening if the lot is a teardown

Disclose

  • iQ 314309 vs pre-iQ 313852 when known
  • Whether motor, cams, switch module, or encoder are included
  • Tested vs untested

Title tips

  • Stanley + M-Force / Magic-Force + 314309 or 313852 + encoder face if visible
  • Do not title as Dura-Glide or Magic-Swing unless the plate says so

Buyer guidance

Common mistakes

  • Pairing an iQ controller with a 313852 black-face encoder operator
  • Pairing a pre-iQ board with a 314309 / 314327 white-face encoder
  • Buying individual cams without confirming the cam-switch kit generation

Revision differences

  • 314309 (iQ operator, encoder 314327) vs 313852 (pre-iQ, black-face encoder)
  • Switch module 191841 and cam-switch kit 516783 are assemblies — not the same as a single cam

Verify before purchase

  • Encoder face color visible in photos
  • Operator PN or serial readable, or seller states 314309 vs 313852
  • Connector parity with the removed motor/encoder
  • Return path if generation is wrong

Curated field notes

This is the operator-system family, not a second copy of the Magic-Force controller-board page. The useful split in the field is encoder and controller generation: 314309 carries the white-face higher-resolution encoder kit 314327 for iQ controllers; 313852 is the Magic-Force operator with black-face lower-resolution encoders for pre-iQ boards. Mixing those generations is a common surplus failure. Owner-listed cams and the rubber mount are catalog entries, not proof that every M-Force opening uses the same cam stack. Photograph the operator, encoder face, and controller together.
